it was more like 20 seconds but yeah

le goon (J0rdan S.), Thursday, 26 December 2013 06:29 (ten years ago) link

haha yeah

can't believe cp missed those 2 layups

Spottie, Thursday, 26 December 2013 06:30 (ten years ago) link

would have been great if the ref had shown some balls and T'd up Paul after Klay blocked him

Matt Armstrong, Thursday, 26 December 2013 06:31 (ten years ago) link

yeah man totally, woulda been sad but mostly lol

Spottie, Thursday, 26 December 2013 06:36 (ten years ago) link

nba reffing is such a joke

Spottie, Thursday, 26 December 2013 06:37 (ten years ago) link

Lebruvs dunks this week have been next level

Spottie, Thursday, 26 December 2013 06:39 (ten years ago) link

Bogut has really mastered the art of subtly irritating opposition to the point of exploding. 99 rating on push grab shove tug elbow.

Call me Shitmael (CompuPost), Thursday, 26 December 2013 16:15 (ten years ago) link

lol griffin getting tossed was such complete garbage, sry buddy two guys attacked you youre outta here

lag∞n, Thursday, 26 December 2013 16:37 (ten years ago) link

yeah it was bogus completely, but I loved it tbf iirc. just adds to the storyline and hatred between these two teams.

Spottie, Thursday, 26 December 2013 18:02 (ten years ago) link

yes i pray to god they meet in the playoffs

lag∞n, Thursday, 26 December 2013 18:04 (ten years ago) link

tho mostly its just the matchup is really good, hatred can be fun but not when it leads to all those stoppages which are so zzzzz

lag∞n, Thursday, 26 December 2013 18:05 (ten years ago) link

as are: ejections

lag∞n, Thursday, 26 December 2013 18:05 (ten years ago) link

its been a weird couple years between those two teams. Started with each other blowing each other (lol) out at home and then the Bazed Gods reaction to Blakes three I think sparked something. \

The better games have been between the Dubs and the Thunder tho. Kinda chippy and the 2 buzzer beaters in a row. Id be happy with that matchup just as much tbf

Spottie, Thursday, 26 December 2013 18:08 (ten years ago) link

btw Warriors vs Suns tomorrow night

Spottie, Thursday, 26 December 2013 18:09 (ten years ago) link

also a good matchup

Spottie, Thursday, 26 December 2013 18:09 (ten years ago) link

doubt the warriors can hang w the thunder this year tbh

lag∞n, Thursday, 26 December 2013 18:10 (ten years ago) link

i mean THINGS CAN CHANGE but its not looking too promising

lag∞n, Thursday, 26 December 2013 18:10 (ten years ago) link

btw i think after a period of confusion we can return to common sense and say mark jackson is a pretty bad coach

lag∞n, Thursday, 26 December 2013 18:11 (ten years ago) link

so many isos!

lag∞n, Thursday, 26 December 2013 18:12 (ten years ago) link

i don't think anyone in the west can hang with the thunder this year

le goon (J0rdan S.), Thursday, 26 December 2013 18:12 (ten years ago) link

yeah the ball movement died when iggy went down and hasn't really returned

Spottie, Thursday, 26 December 2013 18:12 (ten years ago) link

its not like you have one of the all time great teams for running pick n rolls on every damn play or anything

lag∞n, Thursday, 26 December 2013 18:12 (ten years ago) link

yeah they look great but the warriors HAVE hung with them

Spottie, Thursday, 26 December 2013 18:13 (ten years ago) link

maybe portland has the right mix of youth and athleticism but okc would drop 100+ on them every game probably

le goon (J0rdan S.), Thursday, 26 December 2013 18:13 (ten years ago) link

yeah they look great but the warriors HAVE hung with them

im willing to take your money if youre into it

lag∞n, Thursday, 26 December 2013 18:14 (ten years ago) link

bogut = the sweep-the-leg-johnny of the nba

signed, J.P. Morgan CEO (Hurting 2), Thursday, 26 December 2013 18:14 (ten years ago) link

also don't know why the dubs stopped pushing the ball

Spottie, Thursday, 26 December 2013 18:14 (ten years ago) link

yeah it's really a shame cuz steph & david lee should be one of the most deadly PNR duos in the league especially with klay hanging out around the perimeter

le goon (J0rdan S.), Thursday, 26 December 2013 18:14 (ten years ago) link

i will homer this one all the way home bro

Spottie, Thursday, 26 December 2013 18:15 (ten years ago) link

yeah they've been doing more steph and bogut pick and rolls inexplicably

Spottie, Thursday, 26 December 2013 18:15 (ten years ago) link

they really havent played much with the full roster yet

Spottie, Thursday, 26 December 2013 18:16 (ten years ago) link

the thunder look really great and are getting better too. that bench is the surprise of the year (along w PDX and PHX)

Spottie, Thursday, 26 December 2013 18:17 (ten years ago) link

the thunder are a lot better than they were in the first month of the season and the dubs are worse, i doubt itd be much of a contest if they played rn, the warriors can regain their form i think tho some guys were clearly playing over their heads for a minute there, but i dont see okc slipping too much unless injuries or w/e

lag∞n, Thursday, 26 December 2013 18:18 (ten years ago) link

bothers me that neither team has a l33t coach

lag∞n, Thursday, 26 December 2013 18:19 (ten years ago) link

yeah iggy was kinda out of his mind to start, klay a little too but I think he can produce pretty close to that consistently

Spottie, Thursday, 26 December 2013 18:20 (ten years ago) link

at least with Jackson they have that Christian Connection and they kinda buy into a thing, whatever that thing is. Like we've never had a coach that a free agent of note would take less money to play for.

Spottie, Thursday, 26 December 2013 18:21 (ten years ago) link

theyre both really good players but neither is going to shoot like they did to start the season, klay was like 70% from three, iggy 50% after being a career 35% guy

lag∞n, Thursday, 26 December 2013 18:22 (ten years ago) link

feel like jackson is prob a pretty good players coach the team sees to like him and each other and play hard but tactically hes def a lil lacking

lag∞n, Thursday, 26 December 2013 18:23 (ten years ago) link

yeah true to both posts

the team defense has slipped the most tbf, but now picking up a little again since iggz return

Spottie, Thursday, 26 December 2013 18:24 (ten years ago) link

kinda still early in the season and hopefully they injuries are out of the way

Spottie, Thursday, 26 December 2013 18:24 (ten years ago) link

yeah iggy is a super legit defender

lag∞n, Thursday, 26 December 2013 18:25 (ten years ago) link

injuries happen and theyre def a p thin team, prob just have to hope theyre all healthy for the playoffs and can make a run

lag∞n, Thursday, 26 December 2013 18:26 (ten years ago) link

so is bogut xp, w those two on the floor together we can hang w anyone

Spottie, Thursday, 26 December 2013 18:26 (ten years ago) link

one cool thing w being top heavy tho is that theyre built for the playoffs where starters play big minutes and have time to rest, like last night when they went down big it was cause jackson inexplicably put his entire bench in at once

lag∞n, Thursday, 26 December 2013 18:27 (ten years ago) link

also jermaine oneal loss was kinda big, and festus is out till at least all star break so there is no backup center atm

Spottie, Thursday, 26 December 2013 18:28 (ten years ago) link

i wld say iggy is an elite defender, bogut is formerly elite has lost some mobility but is still very good, klay is good, curry is prob below average, and lee is the worst defender in the nba except maybe ray allen

lag∞n, Thursday, 26 December 2013 18:30 (ten years ago) link

you cant expect oneal to stay healthy for more than three games just let that one go, unless youre the suns of course

lag∞n, Thursday, 26 December 2013 18:31 (ten years ago) link

prob fair

Spottie, Thursday, 26 December 2013 18:31 (ten years ago) link

tell it to me straight my brain is twisted, havent ever had expectations you see

Spottie, Thursday, 26 December 2013 18:32 (ten years ago) link

when he played on the celtics it was comical, i have no idea how he does it, there was a new minor injury every game he played

lag∞n, Thursday, 26 December 2013 18:32 (ten years ago) link
