also did I dream that Blake hit like 7 solid 18 footers and didn't hesitate to take a corner three, because that's just weird as hell

"It was the refs tonight. Eight against five. The game in the second half, a man was shooting free throws every time. We were out there playing hard, and they were dictating the game. It can't be like that. We are out there playing, too.

-- Grizzlies forward Zach Randolph, on the officials during Memphis' loss to Houston, where James Harden hit 22 of 25 free throws.

Spottie, Friday, 27 December 2013 16:56 (ten years ago) link

It's not in free agency in 2015 but later this season or next summer when he comes back from a torn ACL. The Knicks are hoping Rondo will be interested in making a maneuver similar to what Anthony did back in 2011 and eventually try to force a trade to the Knicks, sources said.

[...]

If that fails—and who knows how Rondo will mesh with this Celtics team, it could work well and he could want to stay—the Knicks fully believe they will get one or two of the following in free agency in 2015 when they expect to have large salary-cap space: Kevin Love, LaMarcus Aldridge, Roy Hibbert, Marc Gasol, Tony Parker or Rondo when his contract is up. Under certain circumstances, James himself could be a free agent again that summer.

nbd just a couple of those guys.

Clay, Friday, 27 December 2013 20:09 (ten years ago) link

make it 25 games, then go to a western-conference and heat-v.-pacers-best-of-21 playoff bracket.

Russ injury should mean some solid and meaningful contributions from derek fisher, always a joy to see him out there on the hardwood

Clay, Friday, 27 December 2013 22:37 (ten years ago) link

tellin yall, my plan will solve:
--play each team twice (58 games)
--top 16 in champ bracket (all best of 5 series)
--bottom 14 in lottery pool. play 4 乒乓 balls
