suns are all discombobulated on offense

call all destroyer, Thursday, 9 January 2014 04:51 (ten years ago) link

they aren't nearly as good when Bledsoe is out.

Spottie, Thursday, 9 January 2014 04:55 (ten years ago) link

oladipo just absolutely crushed lillard with a block on an attempted dunk

Clay, Thursday, 9 January 2014 05:09 (ten years ago) link

Matt Armstrong, Thursday, 9 January 2014 05:14 (ten years ago) link

hella clean

Spottie, Thursday, 9 January 2014 05:25 (ten years ago) link

warriors wouldve been the first team ever w/a 7-0 road trip if they won tonight

lag∞n, Thursday, 9 January 2014 05:29 (ten years ago) link

i'd say block of the year but lillard is such a crap finisher that it downgrades it slightly xp

Clay, Thursday, 9 January 2014 05:29 (ten years ago) link

warriors have played the most road games of any team this year

Spottie, Thursday, 9 January 2014 05:31 (ten years ago) link

Haralabos Voulgaris ‏@haralabob 24s
MIN's close game “randomness” is pretty much the other side of 2012 Dallas’s record in close games. Neither were / are random.

haha wow bob with the quant heterodoxy

lag∞n, Thursday, 9 January 2014 05:33 (ten years ago) link

Haralabos Voulgaris ‏@haralabob 7m
@PPPBasketball when a team that scores a lot in transition, and is poor (relatively speaking) in the halfcourt - close losses aren’t random

lag∞n, Thursday, 9 January 2014 05:36 (ten years ago) link

ouch

Spottie, Thursday, 9 January 2014 06:52 (ten years ago) link

he's increased his FT% by a grand total of .7% this year

Matt Armstrong, Thursday, 9 January 2014 06:53 (ten years ago) link

Game recognize game

, Thursday, 9 January 2014 11:37 (ten years ago) link

that question about players in their prime is actually pretty interesting

i might still roll the dice on the heat with 30 ppg wade, ray allen from like 8 years ago, rockets battier, max contract era rashard and, uh, greg oden as a college senior

le goon (J0rdan S.), Thursday, 9 January 2014 15:48 (ten years ago) link

and i guess lebron and bosh in their currents states

the nets would probably win. but so would the spurs.

le goon (J0rdan S.), Thursday, 9 January 2014 15:49 (ten years ago) link

the nets wouldnt lose a game, prime 5x5 ak47 is yr sixth best player i mean

lag∞n, Thursday, 9 January 2014 16:24 (ten years ago) link

prime JJ and prime d will aren't *that* great

prime KG & prime PP are pretty great but there are other teams with better starting 5s

le goon (J0rdan S.), Thursday, 9 January 2014 16:25 (ten years ago) link

lol prime kg is "pretty great" ok sure right

lag∞n, Thursday, 9 January 2014 16:26 (ten years ago) link

historically great player! but other teams also have those

le goon (J0rdan S.), Thursday, 9 January 2014 16:27 (ten years ago) link

which are these teams w better starting fives out of curiocity

lag∞n, Thursday, 9 January 2014 16:28 (ten years ago) link

waiting patiently for jordan to rep for a team starting battier

lag∞n, Thursday, 9 January 2014 16:28 (ten years ago) link

imagines the heat attempting to guard kg and lopez

lag∞n, Thursday, 9 January 2014 16:29 (ten years ago) link

well starting fives is a bit of a misnomer, i'd say crunch time 5s

the spurs w/ prime duncan, prime TP, prime manu and some combination of leonard/green/splitter could beat PRIME NETS

the heat w/ current LBJ & bosh + wade & ray at their peaks with some current rando thrown in could also beat PRIME NETS

le goon (J0rdan S.), Thursday, 9 January 2014 16:31 (ten years ago) link

lol u are literally out of yr fucking mind

lag∞n, Thursday, 9 January 2014 16:31 (ten years ago) link

the lakers with prime kobe, nash, gasol and kaman are one player away from being able to beat PRIME NETS

i mean the nets could be the best of that group but if they played it out they could also easily lose

le goon (J0rdan S.), Thursday, 9 January 2014 16:33 (ten years ago) link

i mean the spurs had teams with prime duncan manu and parker and they were very good but not imaginary super team good, and the heat while it would be an extremely scary offensive team would have the same problem the current heat have with interior D

lag∞n, Thursday, 9 January 2014 16:33 (ten years ago) link

if it's a playoff series where benches matter less than top 5 the nets would be the favorites but not infallible

le goon (J0rdan S.), Thursday, 9 January 2014 16:34 (ten years ago) link

they would be infallible sorry, benches matter less in the playoffs but its more like your deep bench guys matter less, having terry and ak47 as your first guys in would make them even more better than their starting line up advantage

lag∞n, Thursday, 9 January 2014 16:36 (ten years ago) link

the heat would have some of the same problems the current heat have in the redundancy of talent like obvs prime ray allen was an amazing player but his best skill was scoring and the heat have tons of scoring, all the nets players are v well rounded and would compliment each other nicely

lag∞n, Thursday, 9 January 2014 16:39 (ten years ago) link

if "prime" greg oden = healthy greg oden then he could check brook lopez pretty easily imo

le goon (J0rdan S.), Thursday, 9 January 2014 16:43 (ten years ago) link

blake is really the master of that heavily defended throw-dunk

signed, J.P. Morgan CEO (Hurting 2), Thursday, 9 January 2014 16:45 (ten years ago) link

prime oden i think would have to refer to 2nd year oden where he was putting up ridic numbers but only getting 20min a night because he had absolutely no idea what he was doing and a pro operator like lopez would eat him alive

lag∞n, Thursday, 9 January 2014 16:46 (ten years ago) link

you dont get to have imaginary healthy mature oden sry

lag∞n, Thursday, 9 January 2014 16:46 (ten years ago) link

the nets would probably win!

but the heat could roll out one of the three best players ever, a 30 ppg guy at his peak, the best shooter ever, a no doubt hall of fame PF, a first overall pick center. and battier when he was really checking guys on D and shooting 40% from three plus mid-20s rashard are decent bench players.

obv chalmers & cole & birdman etc are the weak links there. but it would be a series.

le goon (J0rdan S.), Thursday, 9 January 2014 16:47 (ten years ago) link

second year oden was better than brook but yeah he couldn't stay on the floor

le goon (J0rdan S.), Thursday, 9 January 2014 16:48 (ten years ago) link

i think it was cuz of fouls though

le goon (J0rdan S.), Thursday, 9 January 2014 16:48 (ten years ago) link

he had no idea how to play basketball he was just out there jumping around, brook is a legit elite skilled nba player on both sides of the ball and like 1mx better than 2nd year oden was

lag∞n, Thursday, 9 January 2014 16:51 (ten years ago) link

Glad this discussion is finally bringing people around to the value of Brook Lopez, stalwart of my fantasy team for 2+ years at least

, Thursday, 9 January 2014 16:52 (ten years ago) link

i mean you can understand why everyone was so amped on greg but he has zero idea of how to play basketball at that point
