4-6 weeks for Bledsoe. Removed meniscus. Bad move long term but he wants to get paid so idk.

Spottie, Saturday, 11 January 2014 17:22 (ten years ago) link

oh no they took it out! terrible

lag∞n, Saturday, 11 January 2014 17:24 (ten years ago) link

call all destroyer, Saturday, 11 January 2014 17:24 (ten years ago) link

i guess you don't but you'll end up a semi-cripple like wade

call all destroyer, Saturday, 11 January 2014 17:29 (ten years ago) link

*semi*, ha.

Daniel, Esq 2, Saturday, 11 January 2014 17:30 (ten years ago) link

that guy is finished.

Daniel, Esq 2, Saturday, 11 January 2014 17:30 (ten years ago) link

Haha notorious jvg and gray mamba! Excellent

Would totally buy a notorious jvg jersey except its a heat one maybe we should all chip in on one for j0rd or something

z-time champion (agent hibachi), Saturday, 11 January 2014 19:14 (ten years ago) link

-Anthony Bennett dropped a one trillion.

You know who is super excited about this Bennett problem yup Austin Rivers

z-time champion (agent hibachi), Saturday, 11 January 2014 19:15 (ten years ago) link

wow, bledsoe. damn.

le goon (J0rdan S.), Saturday, 11 January 2014 19:19 (ten years ago) link

i hoping it wasnt just some terrible decision and that his meniscus was beyond repair or something

lag∞n, Saturday, 11 January 2014 19:22 (ten years ago) link

Bledsoe had a previous problem with that knee right? I wonder if they were looking at being able to play for five years mostly healthy or ten years always on fete injured list

Hopefully he'll be good- can anyone think of other players with similar?

z-time champion (agent hibachi), Saturday, 11 January 2014 19:25 (ten years ago) link

how did autocorrect change "the" to "fete" burn in hell jony ive

z-time champion (agent hibachi), Saturday, 11 January 2014 19:25 (ten years ago) link

Bledsoe slotting nicely into the "talented shooting guard from the Clippers who is now always going to be injured" position

, Saturday, 11 January 2014 19:28 (ten years ago) link

But yeah I asked upthread who are the explosive young point guards who have come back 100% from knee injuries

I guess Shaun Livingston?

, Saturday, 11 January 2014 19:28 (ten years ago) link

DERIICK ROSE HAHA

lag∞n, Saturday, 11 January 2014 19:35 (ten years ago) link

hypebrook im guessing is prob gonna be totally ok

lag∞n, Saturday, 11 January 2014 19:36 (ten years ago) link

Livingston is an ok reserve but he was a good solid starter who was coming into his own. I'd say he's about 65% of what he was.

Spottie, Saturday, 11 January 2014 20:07 (ten years ago) link

Yeah it's just two surgeries in less than a year on the same knee is kind of worrying xp

, Saturday, 11 January 2014 20:09 (ten years ago) link

well three actually

lag∞n, Saturday, 11 January 2014 20:25 (ten years ago) link

Can't wait til the day when you like lick a swab or something and then a month later the doctor's grown some cartilage from your tongue cells and stitches it into yer knee

otm

Spottie, Saturday, 11 January 2014 20:31 (ten years ago) link

Whoa

Spottie, Saturday, 11 January 2014 21:43 (ten years ago) link

kinda terrifying

Clay, Saturday, 11 January 2014 21:51 (ten years ago) link

@SherwoodStrauss

Big NBA storylines: Injuries decimate teams, teams have reason to lose, title favorite is too bored to try. Fun!

kinda otm this season is a bummer :(

k3vin k., Saturday, 11 January 2014 23:23 (ten years ago) link

nah... PG and lance make the leap. suns explode. most efficient lebron season ever. new york teams implode. raptors post-rudy gay transformation. thunder juggernaut engaged.

i've been feeling it

le goon (J0rdan S.), Saturday, 11 January 2014 23:44 (ten years ago) link

Yeah great season

Spottie, Saturday, 11 January 2014 23:46 (ten years ago) link

its been a p cool weird season but all the injuries are defa downer

lag∞n, Saturday, 11 January 2014 23:48 (ten years ago) link

the whole tanking thing is mostly media-created garbage anyway. Most of the supposed tanking teams have been pretty fun to watch, it's the ambitious teams that have been miserable

Matt Armstrong, Sunday, 12 January 2014 00:03 (ten years ago) link

tru

k3vin k., Sunday, 12 January 2014 00:05 (ten years ago) link

I don't know how to feel about the whole meniscus thing. Re-tearing after a repair is certainly not a great thing.

Matt Armstrong, Sunday, 12 January 2014 00:05 (ten years ago) link

also they have those secretic satanic ritual healing powers in Phoenix so it'll probably be alright

Matt Armstrong, Sunday, 12 January 2014 00:06 (ten years ago) link

secretic!!!

Matt Armstrong, Sunday, 12 January 2014 00:06 (ten years ago) link

lebron pisses me off sometimes too but i mostly keep that to myself

agree 100%

call all destroyer, Sunday, 12 January 2014 00:17 (ten years ago) link

i guess the nuggets are just going to average 30 point quarters now

k3vin k., Sunday, 12 January 2014 02:37 (ten years ago) link

what a schizoid season by the nuggz so far

Matt Armstrong, Sunday, 12 January 2014 03:14 (ten years ago) link

kinda terrifying

― Clay, Saturday, January 11, 2014

like a fascist youth-group rally.

Daniel, Esq 2, Sunday, 12 January 2014 03:57 (ten years ago) link

lawson's really having a quietly great season. he'd be one of the best guards in the east

k3vin k., Sunday, 12 January 2014 03:58 (ten years ago) link

i am very excited for rondo to come back i miss that guy

Clay, Sunday, 12 January 2014 04:03 (ten years ago) link

he'd be one of the best guards in the east

I love how this is our gauge now

Spottie, Sunday, 12 January 2014 04:06 (ten years ago) link

all within like the last 30 seconds of the suns game

PJ tucker 3 to tie
JOsh Smith 3 to go up 3
gerald green fouled on a 3 point attempt - makes all 3 to tie
josh smith hits a crazy runner from the right side with a second left
gerald green misses a wild shot

Spottie, Sunday, 12 January 2014 04:07 (ten years ago) link

seems like very few starting pgs in the west wouldn't be one of the top guys in the east?

Clay, Sunday, 12 January 2014 04:07 (ten years ago) link

dirk 40 points on 20 shots, poor guy has to play for the mavs

k3vin k., Sunday, 12 January 2014 04:13 (ten years ago) link

they'd be good in the east

Spottie, Sunday, 12 January 2014 04:16 (ten years ago) link

very nice 13-11-5-2-2 for Giannis

Matt Armstrong, Sunday, 12 January 2014 06:35 (ten years ago) link

Giannis the third youngest player to put up 10-10-5 (McGrady and LeBron)

Matt Armstrong, Sunday, 12 January 2014 06:42 (ten years ago) link

haha awesome
