Yeah that was definitely an icky moment, but this is a show that really traffics in icky moments.

I was glad to see Hot Pie again. Sort of comforting to know that in the midst of all this blood and chaos, he's just been chilling at the tavern making kidney pies and pontificating about gravy.

This narrows down a point I always try to make about how death isn't really ever a "solution" for personal suffering when philosophical conversations bring me there.

i liked that line, but mostly because she said "Nothing is not better or worse than anything" which somehow puts it into a kind of ontological tailspin.

I wonder how they break down the writing gigs because the dialogue in the scene with Arya, the Hound and the dying man can't be by the same people who write the Essos or Night's Watch scenes. That whole exchange about death was on another level. "Nothing isn't better or worse than anything. Nothing is just nothing."

Littlefinger's accent is one of the show's seven wonders. "What shall it be today? Johnson from Peep Show? Rob Brydon caught between impersonations? A Welshman trying to sound Irish? An Irishman trying to sound Welsh? Why not all of them? Yeeeeesss."

this guy is on orphan black doing much the same role, right?

daario v.1 definitely seemed to have a sinister edge that this guy is lacking. He reminds me more of Ellis from Die Hard (Daenerys! Bubby! I'm your white knight!) than a dangerous sellsword with nebulous motives.
