The Ital mix for XLR8R. Quite intense and hypnotic echo-chamber tech-house, opens onto a clearing at the very end with some sunshine and a saxophone playing. Feeling a bit spun out after listening to it. Not really hipster house-ish (whatever that might mean). Wondering if anyone's checked out his new record?

Deetron's Fabric entry is a mix of two halves, the first half is solidly enjoyable if unremarkable house but the other half is psychedelic woozy comedown music.

That Shanti Celeste release is brilliant.

28 tracks? in a cd length mix? This is kind of the problem with feature mixes, too many records crammed in

lol ital mix looks right up my art ghetto alley, maybe a little too close to home, "automatic writing" is amazeballs but rmde idk i'll listen to it at some pt.

the dettmann fabric mix is dope. hearing something about clarity and fun in it and the ryan elliott mix. really functional for this corner of techno / tech house it seems.

Illum Sphere's Fabric CD is the fucking bomb. I've not been that impressed by what I've heard of his productions but this mix is killer - got a bit of dub, a bit of acid, a bit of 80s coldwave synth stuff and a Demdike Stare tune in the middle because why the hell not

its not a 'mix' made to DL, but the recent numbers mix from rinse fm's podcasts is so, so, so good. not really checked them out for ages so nice surprise.

dont know how everyone finds the time to listen to so many mixes though.

There are always good mixes about - just a matter of separating the wheat from the not insignificant chaff. Here are a few that I enjoyed in 2014. The Young Marco in particular was A++

I've not been making much of an effort to find stuff tbf. I check Fact, RA, XLR8R, Juno Plus every so often but that's about it. Blowing Up The Workshop had some good mixes but I forget who did the ones I like
