McCoy also did the covers for In Concert: Live at Philharmonic Hall and Big Fun.

Now that I remember it, Bangs mentioned those also. Dunno why he hated Corky McCoy, but he definitely loved those records.

Other illustration works
McCoy created the cover art for the album Standing on the Verge of Getting It On (1974) by the band Funkadelic. He also created the cover art for the album Fresh Mode, released by a hip-hop group Ugly Duckling, in 1999.
McCoy created illustrations for comedian Tim Meadows' 2000 book The Ladies Man: Sexin' and Lovin' Leon Phelps Style, co-written with Andrew Steele and Dennis McNicholas (ISBN 9781575001876). The book was released in connection with the Tim Meadows comedy film The Ladies Man, that featured a character with the same 1970s street-funk aesthetic associated with McCoy's album covers for Davis.References

I just wish they still made the In Concert t-shirts.
― Montgomery Burns' Jazz (Tarfumes The Escape Goat), Friday, 12 September 2014 19:46 (nine years ago) link
I mean for one thing that sleeve is signed w Bell's name on it, looks like all of his other sleeves for Funkadelic, contains handwritten liner notes similar to all of his other sleeves for Funkadelic (signed as Sir Lleb of Funkadelia), and bears no resemblance to McCoy's other work.
xp

Related: Tiki Fulwood was Miles' drummer for a very brief period in 1972.

Is Yellow Shirt coded gay, it seems like he is? And Tall Woman looks like she has one of those "clothes painted on skin" outfits, not proper clothes.

good turnout imo
I used to have a copy of the gatefold version (gave it to friend as a gift LIKE AN IDIOT), which had the extra characters inside, including the one that became the iconic Troubleman Records logo. Don't know that I'd have voted for it, just pointing out that there's even more potential candidates.http://pixhst.com/avaxhome/4f/da/0015da4f_medium.jpeg
