AZ is turning into the 1989 WS with new GM Dave Stewart taking a job from his old boss Tony LaRussa. Considering the Kirk Gibson shot off Eck, I'm not sure he will be around for much longer. I hope someone like Carney Lansford or some other odd ex-A's guy ends up a coach there.

M's can't get the winning run across in the 9th with bags loaded and no out; on to extras.
I have to go to the NY Film Festival tomw at 3, but i assume there'll be at least one game on Monday.

i think the reds didn't realize that he if a pinch hitter put the reds ahead, Cueto would still be line for the sacred, holy, Win

Waiting for the inevitable Jayson Stark column about pitchers who got a win and a game winning RBI in the same game.

His adjusted OPS at home and on the road are identical, and his home/road OBP's are almost the same too. His doubles on the road turned into homers at Coors, but otherwise he was the same hitter no matter where he played.
