he was so good from '08-'10 and his entire career is basically legit, would love you youk except for all the rumors suggesting that you are a dick

i find it hard to believe that youk was the biggest dick on a team that variously had ppl like papelbon, varitek, manny, j.d. drew, beckett, lackey, bobby valentine, etc

at 16 years and 412 home runs, Alfonso Soriano is hanging 'em up.

baseball ref has his career WAR at ~27 which, even tho his defense was awful and he couldn't take a walk, seems criminal. his career SLG is .500 on the nose – i feel like fangraphs is closer to the mark with him at 38.6.

too bad about that terrible contract that made him come off worse than he was. he was a perfectly serviceable mlb player with several pretty outstanding seasons mixed in there.

former notable prospect and stanford product michael taylor, at age 29. he went to toronto (who immediately sent him to oakland for brett wallace) in the halladay deal.

ultimately hit .167/.254/.216 in 114 major league plate appearances.

i guess ruben won that deal -- drabek has been awful and taylor did nothing. travis d'arnaud might still amount to something, but he hasn't really overwhelmed

I do have one regret I finished with 18 homeruns really wanted to get 20 so if any team wants to sign me for 3yrs that should be enough time
