cad otm. at atl he would have an offense just a couple linemen short of being very good and a project on defense that someone like him is perfect for, in a division that is begging to be taken over. that is the place to go if your agenda is playoff football and maybe a chance at winning something.

I mean his best option all things equal would prob be defensive coordinator rather than head coach, but idk how many of those positions were open (if any) in places that could use his talents

also he's prob too shortsighted to see that a coordinator job wouldn't necessarily be a downgrade for him

best i can figure beyond him trolling the division was this situation has a bigger downside but in some ways a bigger upside and more likelihood for folk hero status. i could see the atlanta situation deteriorating in a trestman-like fashion more than this one.
