scott while i was on tour i met a girl from western mass who said she had played many shows in your basement. can't remember either her name or the name of her project. but she spoke fondly of the basement.

hmmmm, wonder who it was. we are clearing out the basement little by little. so that we can use it again for music. i kinda filled it up with records. there is no limit to how loud you can play down there. just, you know, physiological limits.

this was an amazing basement night. 2010. my pal dan who performs as Diagram:A put it together. (if you EVER see the double Diagram:A album that bill nace put out buy it ASAP. it's amazing. and getting hard to find even around here. Nace didn't make a ton of them.) anyway, this guy SOUNDED completely amazing. it was very loud but not in a painful way. his sound wafted up the stairs and into the store and just floated everywhere. truly transcendent/hypnotic. would love to see him again.
