This is a mixtape with 5-6 songs that are head and shoulders above the rest (ranking with album cuts)

But overall it's a solid enough mixtape that isn't on par with his previous album

I think it's easily the best thing he's ever done.

i mean i know that we all view askance rock covers of rap/r&b songs but to me this doesn't come with the usual baggage, he just goes for it. and i'm not really a fan of the original either but he and the band really pull it off imo, it's just really tight
