For you 1980's enthusiasts:

- Kissing the Pink - albums

- Martha & the Muffins - albums, incl. the one with "Black Stations / White Stations"

Diana Ross' eighties output, which is as classic as "post-disco" gets!

I'll let you know what other eighties stuff I'm finding as I find it.

I was going through the new release site on everynoise.com that I think was posted upthread and noticed that some group called "Craft" that is definitely not the black metal group of that same name is miscategorized as black metal. Not sure if this messes anything else up. Sucks when you search for Craft now that all the results are cluttered with this other group, but not sure if genre tags could even fix that. Maybe if you filtered out DK Records, or just specified the black metal genre.

do you plan to add more countries?

Mordy, Wednesday, 6 May 2015 02:41 (eight years ago) link

The countries in The Needle are the ones where there is sufficient Spotify activity to produce emerging-song signal, so more will appear automatically as Spotify adds countries, or as usage increases in countries where we've already launched...
