Ugh the headphone thing. I dont have an office, so headphones are my "door's closed, go away!" flag. Not that it ever, ever works.

My hatred of lip sync got a little less irrational today upon learning that

- the Grammys had actually asked them to return their award
- Rob Pilatus from Milli Vanilli committed suicide as a result of constant ridicule

The industry just completely threw them under the bus. So now whenever I see Jimmy Fallon doing a lip sync I have to imagine him dancing like a jackass on the grave of Milli Vanilli.

sometimes I will see someone claim that Baltimora's frontman/dancer Jimmy McShane is definitely the singer on "Tarzan Boy" despite any claims to the contrary and I laugh at the thought of a guy from Derry pronouncing "signal" as "see-nyal", which is not only such an Italian pronunciation but also one you probably wouldn't even think of if you were doing a fake Italian accent

no disrespect to him as there's another guy who met a sad end (AIDS; came back home but disowned by religious parents)

I think everybody was more put off by the 'secrecy', but that wasn't the group's fault. They were frequently demanding to be allowed to sing on their recordings and weren't allowed to go blabbing about it either. yet they got hit with the most fallout from it.

Kinda dull, but when I'm waiting to cross the road, a long line of cars passing, and the last car of the group stops to let you cross. It slows everyone down, and now I have to interact with them by doing a little head-nod/wave thing and a half-run across the street.

i hate when cars stop for me unless there's a red light - it throws everybody out, i do that dithering thing where you've still got to look the other way...just let me cross when there's a natural gap, i'm not giving you a courtesy medal for anything

i can't stand when someone's trying to turn onto a two lane road, but another vehicle is leaving that two-lane road from the opposite direction, and instead of just going into the wide open lane, they wait for the other vehicle to leave.

IT"S BIG ENOUGH FOR TWO VEHICLES WITH A LITTLE SPACE LEFT OVER! the fuck you think is gonna happen, the other car is going to magically expand and consume your vehicle? stop making me wait behind you.
