Major league veteran Rene Rivera was pulled after one at-bat from Triple-A Las Vegas' game against Albuquerque on Monday night, signaling he is in line to be flown to New York.

The Mets are calling Travis d'Arnaud's injury a right rotator cuff strain. He has been placed on the disabled list. Rene Rivera has been promoted from Triple-A Las Vegas.
