i'm with darraghmac- am no longer capable of conducting a conversation, except with my spouse. even then we don't talk for twenty minutes at a stretch.

I don't talk to people IRL if I can help it. I'm certainly not going to talk about politics with my co-workers, though I know the owner of my company is a Trump supporter (he's got one of those red hats in his office). I dip in and out of the Presidential primary thread here, but one poster in particular makes that so fucking tiresome that I can't even get really engaged with it.

Who has time for conversation when you've got one-note political opinions to endlessly reiterate?

μpright mammal (mh), Thursday, 5 May 2016 20:27 (seven years ago) link

it's interesting the low numbers ppl are having. i hear him mentioned constantly... often as an aside, some sly joke or whatever

Treeship, Thursday, 5 May 2016 20:32 (seven years ago) link

I love the way the BBC have constantly tittered at Trump's crude/racially divisive/ugly/stupid campaigning methods on the PM show and yet when Zac Goldsmith employs the same methods you don't hear a fucking peep out of them. That was literally my only Trump thought for months.
