"Ice Cream Man" was big on Houston radio, which isn't surprising as we love our ice cream down here. I still remember the surprise I felt while visiting the Blockbuster Music on Farnham sometime in the mid-nineties and hearing THIS on a Chess records comp the clerks were listening to.

I'm not sure "(Oh) Pretty Woman" deserved to place, though.

i voted for 4 Hagar tunes, including the 2 that have placed already. would be surprised if more than 1 or 2 remained.

I like "Oh Pretty Woman." But the video is a human rights violation.

yeah it's not even that i hate Van Hagar. well, not all of it anyway. there's a handful of decent songs but none would make my top 30.

The Beat It solo is so graceful, so easy in execution. Always the highlight of the song

Back to "On Fire," when I first bought the debut, it was on cassette and the song was at the end of side 1, but it apparently was always meant to be the closer. So when I hear it after "Ice Cream Man" now, it still sounds weird.

Disappointed it only came it at 20, because on any given day it could be my favorite VH song of all.

I will fuck with some 5150 and "Finish What Ya Started" but nothing later than that.

The production on F/U/C/K largely ruins it for me, but Balance has a few dope things. And that song from the Twister movie was alright.
