The bf's two kids adore each other and big bro always looks out for lil bro, but christ he can be the worst little condescending shit when little bro is having a meltdown. "youre too old to be crying over that shut up you idiot". Kids are weirdos :)

We always get along better when we're altogether when we make sure that they both get quality one on one time with each parent - it's as if they don't need to compete with each other for attention when they're together because they know their relationship with each parent is strong and valued.

Holidays were always a crunch point with so much bickering but when we went away when Molly had chickenpox we had to split them up as she couldn't go swimming etc, so they both had quality time with both Chris and I, and they really enjoyed each other's company when they were together

D-day is end of Jan / start of Feb; we're nearly 18 gone weeks I think.
