How can you not care about a matchup between the Blazers and a team with Ron Artest on the roster.

Looks like Adelman has kept Mutombo in the attic for the whole season just to rest him up for the playoffs - dusted him off as soon as the Rockets had a 10 point lead. At this point he's like the Satchel Paige of basketball players - he'll keep playing til he's 85.

Von Wafer looks like a cartoon dinosaur. Oden looks very mean, and very limber. Landry looks none the worse for wear after having a bullet put through his leg a month ago.

Sometimes game 1 means a lot. Sometimes it doesn't mean much. By the end of game 3 the picture starts to clear up.

btw has anyone heard anything abt the nba developing a mlb style internet season pass cause i saw that shit on my friends computer and it was marvelous - would totally pay $100 or whatever for nba version

NBA has league pass broadband but it sucks balls. Hopefully by next season it will suck less balls.

yeah thats what im saying is the mlb one is awesome now - and u can just buy that for less than the tv version - where as the nba one is just an add on to the tv package - i dont have cable so

Nah you can get the internet service by itself, and it's less than the TV league pass. I was looking at getting it at the start of the season and dumping cable altogether when they had a one week trial period to start the season. I couldn't get it to work, it gave me some weird error message. I emailed support, they said "Did you try switching browsers?" I said "Yeah that's the first thing I tried."

They said "Huh, well, sorry, we don't know what the problem is, looks like you're screwed. Peace."

I found it somewhat off-putting.

IIRC it doesn't have the games archive, just live streams, so yeah that makes it less awesome than MLB.tv.
