rondo is real life and fantasy league gold but it's going to take like 30-10-20-5 games from him the rest of the way to lose in five or six in the second round

gordon def won't find 50mil on the ground this season but theres always some dippy gm watching his team lose by 5 every night and going that guy can score like kobe...we need that

in the same way that someone will see that boozer has two post moves and throw 6 years at him even if it's 8-9 mil instead of 12-13 per this time

he was like a super athletic SG for michigan state who kinda got lost in the league but hung around cuz he's athletic as fuck but now he's got a decent all around offensive game and plays D well - came from the bobcats iirc

boozer really lost something w/ this last injury - can't go left like he used to, no hops, even slower on defensive changes. hard to tell if its temporary or whether it's something that will come back after an off-season

i think he and maurice ager have sort have been the same person in my mind until recently xp

re shannon brown - the complete collapse of the lakers pg rotation has been pretty much swept under the rug by their dominant season but damn inserting a scrub like that so late in the year on a team this good where it not an injury issue is unheard o -. i can understand fisher declining cause of his age but wtf happened happened to farmar he looked like he was ready to make major progress this year

and everyone hating on boozer hes a flawed player sure and def still slow coming back from injury but hes 27-9 20-10 so far this series - i mean the jazz got issues and boozer isnt near the top of the list

Brown is kind of the prototypical Jackson PG though (he's never loved those quick little guards.) We'll see Farmer (who has been hurt) more when the Lakers face Paul or Parker, I'm guessing.

i mean this is just ignorant - cbooze scores from everywhere and is completely ambidextrous around the basket - he is vv hard to defend

his big problem is that he cant stay healthy - that and his defense sucks - needs to be paired w/a big stopper @ center

Those are pretty big problems. Still I don't think Utah'll be better if he leaves this off-season.

yeah the health thing would be deal breaker for me if i was thinking of signing him - defense can be worked with

1 theyre playing the lakers
2 okur is out and jarron collins is starting
3 so many injuries this season they never got a chance to jell

Lakers almost seem like they are sleep-walking through these games at points.

yeah both games the got out to big leads then coasted the rest of the way - a sure sign theyve got no respect for the jazz

btw huge game for roy - portland looked much more like a normal basketball team than usual w/two guys playing big minutes and scoring more of the points - houston on the other hand is a weird ass team - von wafer and aaron brooks leading the scoring in a close playoff game ehhhh

yeah i've seen a decent amount of houston this year and they are a weird weird team. almost hard to predict how they'd do in the playoffs but i'd err on the side of pessimism.

i mean that 2 post moves is still 2 more than just about anyone not named tim/kg/yao...he definitely is a good shooter and i always forget that he's good with the off hand too until i see him lay it up. at some point tho the injury thing just has to be a real part of the calculation and could boozer really be the #2 on a championship team? seems like a great #3 to me maybe, esp given his defense

when the playoffs started i decided that houston was gonna win it all this year but the mumboless rockets... d*mn. i just dont know anymore

i love dikembe. i remember when he burst onto the scene the dude looked like he would be a big scorer but instead ended up being a sick, sick defender and a guy who simply held his own offensively against every other center of his prime era. probably a HOFer, right?

I'd say it's likely. 4-time defensive play of the year. 8-time all-star. plus his georgetown career and his humanitarian/outreach efforts.

2nd in all-time blocks.

Also probably the only baller invited to be commended at the state of the union address. (lol bush etc)
