In March 2009, T.I. was sentenced to one year and one day in prison and ordered to pay a $100,300 fine for the felony weapons charges, which will begin no sooner than May 19, 2009.

wow, the spurs are 18-66 from the field.

They will be positively frightening at home with their crowd behind them. (I see them winning Game 3 by 20-plus on Thursday night.)

yo bulls, that would have been a 100% shameful display in the regular season (down a solid 30 before the 11th and 12th men went in), nevermind the g.d. playoffs. which brings me to a question i have not seen asked abt these guys: who is their leader? they have a rookie coach and all their best players are the types that could benefit from veteran leadership (their best player could also occasionally look like he enjoys basketball). paxson has cleverly built one of the most rudderless "good" teams i've ever seen.

booz was playing like he used to play pre-injury, i missed the whole 2nd half due to band practice ;_;

boozer came through, good game. the lakers haven't had to brave games this tight in a while. got high hopes for saturday

kobe had an endearing joviality during his press conference tonight

man bulls played horrible - never seen so many shots front rim from a team w/two days rest

22 reb is sick. still think he's a complete no-show on defense

Dr. Phil, Friday, 24 April 2009 14:24 (fifteen years ago) link

kobe went 5-24 o_O i don't imagine that happening many more times this post-season

Dr. Phil, Friday, 24 April 2009 14:27 (fifteen years ago) link

eh kobels does shit like that from time to time - he takes a lot of tough shots and when theyre not falling... always considered it to be one of his weaknesses that w/the right personnel he can be baited into taking a ton of contested jumpers - of course he often makes them - still its def yr best plan of attack

ice cr?m, Friday, 24 April 2009 14:32 (fifteen years ago) link

kobler

Dr. Phil, Friday, 24 April 2009 14:40 (fifteen years ago) link

their best player could also occasionally look like he enjoys basketball

who's that?

that was my half-buzzed description of rose. it's great that dude is so calm but it's kind of eerie at the same time.

It's amazing how close that game was considering how cold Kobe was.

22 reb is sick. still think he's a complete no-show on defense

he actually played some D last night - accomplished mostly by stripping the ball down low. pretty hit and miss strategy, much of the time it just results in him getting in foul trouble

6335, Friday, 24 April 2009 17:16 (fifteen years ago) link

a lot of boozers D problems have to do w/physical and systematic shortcomings rather than lol laziness or whatever - hed be fine on a more defensively talented team w/less responsibilities

pistons have lead through the 1st quarter so far ?_?

Dr. Phil, Friday, 24 April 2009 23:27 (fifteen years ago) link

It's still early, but game 3s on the road are generally the hardest win (don't have any stats to back this up, but that's the way it always seems to me.)

Alex in SF, Friday, 24 April 2009 23:44 (fifteen years ago) link

didn't last long

Dr. Phil, Saturday, 25 April 2009 00:16 (fifteen years ago) link

i've seen most of boozer's games in a jazz uniform, a lot of it is laziness. rumor around town is that mrs kirilenko used her exception on him, maybe that's why he's not returning your calls
