i have something to say about the offseason THE 2016 NBA OFFSEASON

its a fine line, hes def charismatic and models hard work well but on the other hand overly excitable is a very anti-leadership trait, hes at an age where ppl tend to mature a lot but also seems like his natural tendency is to rebel against criticism which its clear hes getting a lot of from management, also lets not forget hes a compulsive nut hunter

how is lagoon not banned yet first he likes football, then he questions the spurs, now he slanders draymond, when will it end

his game is p sweet imo (shooting aside)

he is p obnoxious tho in a way that wld be more ok if he werent the 4th best player on his team

i like draymond tbh, if i were a dubs fan i imagine it'd be like a "he may be an SOB but he's our SOB" situation

dray more likeable than both steph and klay imo

cmon steph is charming and klay is a v nice young man

in terms of being good at basketball

steph is an urban legend he doesn't actually exist so i can't judge him

anyone who thinks dray is better than klay at basketball shd be legally committed to an insane asylum

dray is an incredible fit with the dubs but his game is... extremely flawed, klay on the other hand has mastered the single most important nba skill and is better than most at the second, and just goes out there and plays great team ball and doesnt really make any mistakes, drays career peak prob gonna be p short too since hes undersized and depends a lot on playing super hard

theyre similar in that theyre both very valuable while also not cut out for being a teams best player

in conclusion dray shd be traded to the bulls asap

in retrospect, the turn from constant mockery of the cavs and bron's #messybitchdrama and massive enjoyment of the warriors to embrace of the former solely to maximize schadenfreude regarding the latter was p stark and fairly quick here - certainly less so than much of the rest of the internet, who got all they needed the second lacob opened his mouth to go full techbro/#arrogantszn

i was def rooting against the warriors down the stretch and all playoffs on here

this is true, "warriors must be stopped" was your evergreen post

i think a big part of the narrative turn was their on-court behavior suddenly becoming messy in the offs e.g. draymond's nut-hunting coming to light and steph throwing a tantrum or whatever that was

they got through the reg season pretty squeaky clean so it was harder for ppl to dislike them then

yea sloth otm here the switch was very quick, happened like after game 3 of the finals maybe? maybe even later. at whatever point it a dubs championship stopped being completely inevitable

i mean i am speaking for the board i was obv not a warriors fan though i had moments when i deeply admired them

hardcore sports fans are always gonna turn against success p fast is how i break it down, the masses of casual fans of course still fn love the dubs, and rightful they shd theyre a super awesome fun team

draymond does stuff on the fastbreak that horford and millsap can't, which is a pretty important part of golden state's offense. evaluating those three guys is pretty context dependent and draymond is pretty much perfect for the warriors. given how durant makes them even more perimeter heavy i think dray is prob their most irreplaceable player. if he got hurt for a significant period of time or had to miss part of a playoff series i think they'd have real trouble defending the rim.

goon has been a dray hater for a while, was proved wrong, and has moved the goalposts since. i don't think horford could have put up 32/15/9 on 6-8 from three in game 7 like dray did... millsap has put up lines like that before but i think on the defensive end he's still less versatile than dray. ultimately i would take dray over those two even just for this season, tho again context is important and i'm not sure i.e. the celtics would rather have dray than horford for this season.

imo horford cld do those things on the fast break, dray is mostly operating in space in those situations while the defense gets sucked towards the dubs shooter, his ball handling is good but its a lil overrrated its not like hes breaking defenders down in the open court or anything

you know yr argument is bad when ur like i dont think player x cld match this one weird game, of course he cld i mean its just one weird game
