ok i figured, couldn't stand to scroll through. it "bears" rewatching though.

I'm wondering if that waving bear was posted on another thread and that inspired this thread? The opener here is a photo of a bear falling from a tree, which doesn't match the thread title as much as it should. Whereas the video is perfect.

It's still so weird to me that Timothy Treadwell almost landed the part of Woody on Cheers. Forget about the tasting of the bear shit and the whole actually getting eaten by the bears stuff, the Woody fact is what made me go "NO WAY!" while watching that movie.

what's really wild is that there's a large gun ~right there~ but he can't reach for it

feel like even if the gun was right in my lap i wouldn't trust either my ability to hit it or, even if I did, the chance i'd be able to kill it before it could close the distance between us

getting mauled to death by an angry wounded bear that would otherwise be a chill temporary companion would really suck
