moth to the flame was one of the best tracks on a very disappointing album

tilted is fine but maybe a bit too restrained for me, i'm not surprised she broke through in the UK this year though

its weird that starboy was such a big hit, production is fantastic sounding but it's a bit slight and i wish it had a much better bridge

I've never heard an Underworld track that wouldn't sound better as an instrumental, and this one's no exception. Well, at least here the vocals are just forgettable instead of actively irritating.

I wonder if Cosmic Slop is one of them?

I have a lot of love for some Underworld but listening to that album was like listening to someone building a wall and this is no exception.

'Nylon Strung' and 'Low Burn' are two of their best 00s tracks easily.

Impossible, since Scribble is their best track ever.

Yeah I didn't enjoy it either although to be fair I haven't loved an Underworld album since Beaucoup Fish.

That Underworld track is pants, it reminds me of The Lightning Seeds.

Chance the Rapper is fun, otherwise decent but underwhelming electro seems to be the sound of 16 so far.

That Chairlift album was really disappointing compared to Something. Moth to the Flame is catchy enough but the 'He's that kind of man mama' part is unnecessary and a not a little bit cringey.

this album has steadily grown on me since it came out

love the case/lang/veirs album

Not my kind of music really, but this is a-ok. Would've worked better as pure folk tho, the rock guitar in the right speaker is completely unnecessary.

Tho I guess that's what I always say about rock guitars...

Agree with the general opinion that the Chairlift album was a big disappointment after Something. There was a brilliant EP in there surrounded by a lot of filler. Moth To A Flame is one of the good ones. I voted for Romeo in my top five last year.

Tilted is a lovely song. I was really surprised it ended up being a bit hit. It sounded quite odd when it came on Christmas TOTP.

Starboy is so dull. I Feel It Coming is a hundred times better.

The Underworld album was fairly decent but I'm surprised just how popular it was on here.

I didn't vote for Atomic Number but I'm pleased to see it place. I would have voted for Best Kept Secret if I'd remembered to nominate it. The album is great.

This came close to being on my ballot so I'm pleased to see it placing. All the Case-predominant tracks on the album (this, Delirium, Behind the Armoury) are the best.

Like the Chance the rapper song too.

Oh wow, I really like "Atomic Number". I'm already listening to more by them. I bet the CD sounds great.

This Starboy song sounds so much like a rework of Olly Murs 'Kiss Me Like You Mean It' + swearing that I can't enjoy it in any objective way.

Totally disagree with Tuomas about the distorted electric guitar part, unsurprisingly.

I'm not sure I'd go back to the whole album much but this is the first song to place that's elicited much more than a shrug from me.

Atomic Number is a gorgeous song, their voices work so well together. I voted for the album instead but this track was one of my favourite singles of last year.

The caselangveirs cd is quite cool so far.

k d lang was marvelous at last year's EMP Pop Conference.

agree that the case songs are the best, 'supermoon' is my fav

Oh yeah 'Delirium' is my other favourite.

I love the way he sings "I don't know about you" in the chorus. Lyrics are unfortunately a bit dodgy and objectifying (especially the "bumper soft like butter cocoa" bit), but not so much it'd stop me from appreciating the awesome poppiness of the rest of it.

been listening to that Shura song a fair bit since it appeared, and while I like it well enough, it's pretty much 'I Belong In Your Arms' part 2 with a lot of the low end missing.
