Can't remember if it was posted itt, but reading the WaPo article from a couple of days ago where they reconstructed the timeline of the motherfucking president of the motherfucking United States basically livetweeting Fox News for a solid two hours instead of governing the country was one of those moments where the reality of this completely ridiculous situation we find ourselves in hit me full force.

Meantime, a useful right-wing read on the state of healthcare play as perceived. (They're not thrilled.)

Special Assistant, Department of the Treasury

Jon Perdue, a fellow at a little-known security think tank, wrote a book called “The War of All the People: The Nexus of Latin American Radicalism and Middle Eastern Terrorism.” He was inspired by his study of societal collapse to create a bow-and-arrow-cum-survivalist multi-tool called the Packbow, which he touted on a reality show for inventors.

Democrats view the CIA more favorably than Republicans, according to an NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll from December.

It was the first time in the history of the survey, which NBC News said first asked about the CIA in 2002, that Democrats had rated the CIA higher than Republicans had.

Anyway, Paul Ryan should be bludgeoned to death: https://twitter.com/CitizenCohn/status/839884883015118849

Paul Ryan says insurance can't work if healthy must pay more to subsidize the sick. But this is exactly what happens in every employer plan.

Like, it's the actual definition of insurance.

does anybody know a place online where you can track the progress of the AHCA? as in what committees it goes to next and when it's up for a full House vote? i can't find anyfuckingthing, which is not terribly surprising giving the clandestine nature of all of this.

The White House should install a CoinStar-like machine by the front door - you pour in bags of money, and select the groups you'd like your legislation to directly benefit from a drop-down touch screen menu.
