Remember how staffers/editors complained about Bannon's excessive pro-Trump angle? They're a gang of vengeful crackpots all out to stab each other in the back. If it's in their collective interests to turn on Trump and their former boss I don't see any reason why they wouldn't and, as noted above, they already have begun to on AHCA.

The Mercers have their own agenda, which leans way more libertarian than Bannon's. They'll want repeal and replace to be a two-step, interrupted.
