lol remember when hubie brown used to post here

Dr. Phil, Friday, 8 May 2009 04:41 (fifteen years ago) link

Yeah sure KG was always like that, but something always seemed off to me. When you're acting all "I am the baddest mofo in the world" and then you disappear in the fourth quarter of every playoff game ever in Minnesota, something doesn't jive.

congrats, u are now up to date on kg discourse from 4 years ago

Eddie House is that dude on the playground who starts beating his chest and slapping the ground after hitting an 5 foot uncontested jumper, after airballing his first five shots.

lol i missed this do u hav any idea what yr talking abt - u know house shot 45% from three this year - dude is a full on assassin not the saddo front runner of yr impoverished imagination

haa dayo is there anymore nba received wisdom ud like to share - is kobe "the best closer in the game" does "defense win championships"

anything is possible.

guys check out this si story on kg from a week before the 95 draft: http://vault.sportsillustrated.cnn.com/vault/article/magazine/MAG1006749/index.htm

"There are concerns about Garnett's maturity, his social skills, his sense of responsibility, his friends and his diet."

hahaha it goes on to site shawn kemp as an emotionally mature success story!

Yeah sure, he's such a great assassin that each of the twenty seven teams he's played for worked like hell to re-up with him over the summer - just cause he's a 3rd option on a great team doesn't make him some sort of cold blooded hitman. You put JJ Redick on the Celtics, he'll shoot 60%.

celtics sure felt like bringing house back - not like they know anything abt building a winner tho

ice cr?m, Friday, 8 May 2009 04:52 (fifteen years ago) link

They figured he was a more valuable part of their team than James Posey

Can't stop the dancing chickens (dyao), Friday, 8 May 2009 04:54 (fifteen years ago) link

house btw is career 40% from downtown

ice cr?m, Friday, 8 May 2009 04:54 (fifteen years ago) link

lol yeah giving posey 4 yrs full midlevel is sure looking good for the hornets right now

ice cr?m, Friday, 8 May 2009 04:54 (fifteen years ago) link

as much as i hate to admit it, posey kinda sucked this year so either he's old or the c's made him look better than he was.

like clowns passing out candy wearing blindfolds (call all destroyer), Friday, 8 May 2009 04:55 (fifteen years ago) link

i was thinkin about pose the other day cuz of the way ppl were talking about bynum - WE COULDN'T HAVE DONE IT WITHOUT POSEY - yeah okay simmons

that sure was a lonely island to be on in the sea of popular opinion

I love how his headband jiggles. That and Derek Fisher's hit on Luis Scola are two of the funniest clips from the playoff so far. Also lol at a 6'11 dude from the Bronx needing Fish to be his enforcer.

Can't stop the dancing chickens (dyao), Friday, 8 May 2009 04:58 (fifteen years ago) link

posey was an excellent fit w/the c's last year - particularly defending kobe - but i never understood why a guy coming off the bench for 7 and 4 was made such a big deal over - c's wouldve been right in this thing w/o him this year if not for injuries

listen im sorry i did not have the info that tom brady was totally injured and incapable of playing football ok im sorry - it would be cool especially im sure sport bettors would agree w/me if the pats were a little more open abt the health of their roster

i just really fucking hate josh smith

triple-hater protection (J0rdan S.), Friday, 8 May 2009 05:03 (fifteen years ago) link

the pwning is such a small insignificant part of that horrible day - thats what ilx can never understand

but srsly tom brady was obv totally fucked up and in the hospital - it was so obv from the opening snap i was like o jeez - i know this might fuck w/the helmet catch narrative and i am sorry - i mean great epic upset and all but there were at least some rational causes to it

ice cr?m, Friday, 8 May 2009 05:07 (fifteen years ago) link

im sorry for your losses - <3

ice cr?m, Friday, 8 May 2009 05:09 (fifteen years ago) link

btw josh smith just needs to be able to play power forward all the time w/like some big hulk dude at center - ask ak47 what its like to look like u should be able to play sf when u really cant

ice cr?m, Friday, 8 May 2009 05:11 (fifteen years ago) link

its cool i mean i pretty much broke up w/the pats and am moved on - i knew i never shouldve trusted them considering how they treated me as a kid
