well, i'm really really really depressed due to seasonal unemployment, ill health, impending divorce, etc so i made a mix to cheer myself up.

no beatmatching because it's all 60s/70s psych and jazz and there didn't seem to be any point in trying anything tricky.

it's a good semi-mellow mix for lying around on sunny days on high doses of clonezepam, which is what i've been up to lately

did it sound good? i'd actually really like to hear it.

i was working on a slow motion house mix for a really long time but by now all of the tracks are really played out. i started on a new breakbeat techno mix too but technical difficulties are slowing that one down. i really need to learn ableton if i want to mix stuff like anthony shakir's "assimilated".

20 min mix i made. entirely sourced from thrifted VHS - lol hypnogogia etc - including material by Man Parrish, Toru Takemitsu and much anonymous soundtrack material, ambient sounds and effects. worth it for the two cosmic country tracks from Supervan, imho.
