Oh hey my partner and I will be in Seattle next month for a week, would love any recommendations on where to get an AirBnB or good vegetarian-friendly food.

oh man sorry I missed this, sounds fantastic. Btw if you want to go somewhere real pretty without leaving the city Discovery Park is my favorite place in town.

Airbnb - maybe try Fremont, Central District or neighborhoods north or south of it. They’d be relatively quiet but easily accessible to downtown or Capitol Hill. Vegetarian-friendly food - I’m a big fan of Vif, Tallulah’s, the numerous Ethiopian places in the central district. Cafe Flora is a renowned vegetarian restaurant but I haven’t been in years. Georgetown Liquor Co. has some amazing vegetarian sandwiches.

love discovery park, like to rock out on the beach in front of the lighthouse and pretend I'm in the hunger strike video

Nice meeting you darragh! Come back soon!!

Jordan - two vegetarian/vegan places: Plum Bistro on Capitol Hill and Harvest Beat in Wallingford does a prix fixe with or without wine pairing.

Ha, was considering making it up to Vancouver as part of our trip but just last night decided to stick around Seattle. Someday though.

Plum Bistro and Georgetown are on the list.

vancouver isn't remotely socialist come the fuck on, the stupid drinking laws are the result of colonial puritanism
