The different kinds of tea that cats like

i usually try to keep a bottle of tea brewing in the fridge, too. i oughtta snip some fresh mint one of these mornings, mint + lemon is pretty badass

my secondary ice cube tray is currently full of minced ginger but once i've used that up i should make iced tea cubes, so as to chill my tea with no loss of potency

there's this bag of matcha powder, it's tremendous and i don't know what to do with it, matcha is awful, it tastes like muddy grass and i am not a goose! that is not a flavor i enjoy!!

just had a realization about jasmine tea, namely that i haven't had any in years and this is intolerable! maybe i can sub in rose petals for now. good god i have so much rose petals. my guy ordered a 1 lb bag of them several years ago and there are still just endless handfuls of them, like the bag is enchanted

or cursed, since idk wtf to do with all this rose

i just whisked a butterscotch pudding cup into my after-dinner cinnamon tea, fyi.

i made lavender honey for a friend, and when i'd strained the flowers from the honey i had, ta-da! honeyed lavender blossoms. i could have made cookies or scones with them, but that's hot and messy, so instead i put them to soak in a small jar of water. now i have a jar of lavender honey water. today i poured a bit into my morning cup of tea, with milk and another spoonful of honey, and as i took the first sip i remembered that lavender tastes revolting, like drinking perfumed antiseptic, and that every other time i've been tempted to ingest lavender i've had the same thought, but keep forgetting, and now i'd ruined a perfectly innocent cup of tea.

(it's in the fridge now and i'm titrating it into subsequent teas)

and yet i keep getting seduced by this vision of a fancy sophisticated cottagecore kitchenwitch me, setting thimbles of garden tea out on the sill for fairies, lounging among the boughs of an ancient willow with flowers in my hair, wearing a simple linen shift ingeniously upcycled from a tablecloth or whatever! i should tattoo reminders on myself like the guy in memento. "stop trying to drink flowers ffs" "wear pants if you're gonna climb a tree" etc

you could still try feeding the lavender tea to your pet cats and let us know how it goes

I thought lavender was supposed to be something cats found repellant so was actually used to keep cats out of areas.
Do they like it as tea then.

Is it then going to be licked all over themselves and give them complexes like.
