Artists with similar names that you get mixed up

I don't know how this started considering the names are only similar in the vaguest ways (so this may be cheating a little) but or some reason since I learned of the two groups I've consisently confused The Flaming Lips and The Legendary Pink Dots.
Got much better at distinguishing the two more recently but for a good long time whenever one was brought up I thought the other was being reffered to.

so much so that Acid Witch was announced at Hell in the Harbor festival, and I'd been spending time with Acid KING'S new album and old albums over the last few months only to realize TODAY it's ACID WITCH, NOT KING

Weezer, Wheatus and Ween. Ridiculous, I know.

Totally get Weezer and Ween, since I've never listened to either and they're both alt rock from the 90s.

I have just realized that Eddie Chacon is not Eddie Marcon

Pitchfork's 2023 album list has both Yeule and Yaeji in the top 15
Even google's auto-correct gets those two mixed up.

People are really bad at coming up with band names aren't they

I'm sure I've mentioned this before but for years I sorta ignored - very foolishly and to my detriment, it turns out - Sleepytime Gorilla Museum, because I was confusing them with emo band Sleeptime Trio (who were pretty good as I recall, just not really my thing these days)

I realised today that, even though I should know better because they're all very much in my wheelhouse and they're all actually pretty different and based in different countries, I often conflate:
