Some of these are fine songs, but not fine riffs... I would argue that I Feel Love doesn't actually have a riff at all.
Since you didn't include 'Life on the Line' by Fad Gadget, I am unable to vote for 'the best synth riffs ever' anyway

I played Duran Duran's 'Careless Memory' at a party the other day. No real riff or hook in that one, I aver, but definitely a mighty fine lick.

all this proves is that a synth "riff" is harder to define than a guitar riff. you should do a thread for guitar "arpeggios" next.

I think I need a definition of just what constitutes a riff.
I would say it needs to be in the medium to higher registers at least. A bass lick is a bass lick. And chords are chords.
