wow the last episode in season one is really a GAMECHANGER

wait til you get to the end of season 2

i have just started season 3 having finally gotten into this show bigtime a few months back

i really really love this show. the third season was a bit uneven but not disastrous by any means. i hate having to wait a whole fracking year now.

I've intuited lots of internet grumblings about the third season, but so far, with the exception of an odd few eps -- the boxing one, the Carl Lumbly one -- it's been pretty consistent with the first two -- which is to say, great. (Right now, I'm up to "Where Everybody Knows Your Name".) I'm quite glad Baltar is back on Galactica, though.

Everytime they show the inside of one of the Cyclon basestars, I think they need to play some classic Detroit techno. Their ships are far more cool looking inside than the bucket of bolts that the Colonials have.

i was looking for 2 more seasons, but i read somewhere that Ron Moore had got the go ahead to do fewer self-contained eps and concentrate on the continuing story. so i guess that makes sense to do just 1 more series
