"went to the club and balled...." *CUT TO LEBRON*..."CHEMO!"
this is the worst line. bad punchline rappers are the worst.

I listened to this album exactly once. Whatever was the one where he was like "I didn't cry when Pac died, but I'll cry when Jay-Z dies"

shitty jay-z song's on the radio now too prolly

the only reason "Forever" can't be the answer is because drake has a kinda akonish innocuousness to his hook. it's also one of the only verses from him i can really stomach because it isn't about his sex life
there has to be much more objectable crap up there

― iirc flair (J0rdan S.), Thursday, 24 September 2009 19:52 (fourteen years ago) link
yeah...I like the rest of the Fab remix but Drake's verse is so ugh...especially when he starts the verse calling a woman "probably old enough to be my mama friend," then admits she has a son several years older than him...by the end you're like jesus dude admit it you're fucking a 70-year-old lady or something
― alship journey to papa (some dude), Thursday, 24 September 2009 19:54 (fourteen years ago) link
also he does the thing where he stretches a word out at the end of the line and begings the next line kinda off-meter like five times in every single verse when it might be actually clever or unexpected if he only did it every once in a while
― alship journey to papa (some dude), Thursday, 24 September 2009 19:56 (fourteen years ago) link

yeah sorry they play that remix on the radio every damn day -- i like the beat and the fab verse so a lot of times i'm too lazy to switch the station just for the drake verse

most transparent kanye karaoke of his career so far, sounds like he spent an hour listening to "can't tell me nothing" before he made it.

my problem with this song is my problem with tons of drake songs aside from "best i ever had" & it's that he tries and come off as like.. the thinking man's baller where he's dropping deep-thought truth bombs in his songs & he kinda just flails around. also his voice is super unpleasant in this song.

for the record, uk urban radio is more nyc-centric than it is of anywhere else and drake gets as much exposure as anyone else (top 40 or no). whether that fact constitutes a relevance that demands attention here on the other hand...
