The party will be in the BLUE POSTS on RUPERT STREET in SoHo, in the upstairs room. It's starting at 6 and we have the room until 11, but no need for Spanish shame - the pub stays open until 1, we just don't have exclusive use of the room.
Please do come and invite anyone who knows (of) me - I've promised them lots of people.

I think of our first attempt at the BPPubCrawl as a classic of Drummondian high concept failure. We did it North -> South, which is like trying to tackle the sheer faces and treacherous ice fields of a mountain when there's a perfectly sensible cablecar up the other side.
― Tim (Tim), Wednesday, 19 March 2003 10:16 (twenty-three years ago)

Ah Tim, a noble endeavour doesn't need to be necessary or even sensible, cf. Edmund Hillary - "Because it's there."
Eurgh my head hurts today, but I am crushing the beast with ibuprofen and will be at the pub later, possibly after greasy healing tea at the Fishcothèque near Waterloo, having retrieved the boy from the horror of SouthWest Trains.
Maybe it was an error to add half a bottle of wine in the middle of all the beer last night, but I danced to TaTu's version of How Soon Is Now. These items may be related.

It's on the corner of Shaftesbury Avenue, I think. If not, its almost certainly sandwiched between two brothels. Rupert Street isn't very long anyway...

This BP is on the stretch of Rupert St which runs SOuth from Shaftesbury Ave. It's on the corner of that little alley which runs through to Wardour St and smells of ... nastiness.
Liz: I'm much prouder of our heroic failure than our sodden success. Also, I think you may be the first person to have given the Fishco the grave it so obviously deserves.

Had a nice Friday evening when I and R0bst3r finally turned up at the pub, and a bit of a mad Saturday afternoon after it seemed like half ILE appeared at my new favourite local and proceeded to wave fluourescent green goolies about the place. O Prospect Golden Ale, how I adore thee. And I made the bestest drunken curry EVAH when we got home, and didn't have any hangover business or nuffink!
Hope Tom had a grebt birthday and enjoyed his brane sossidge.

I liked some bits of the Super Mario Dance Hall songs, Come on Eileen, Shut Up, We Want Fun, the Indain(?) song that sounds like the kind of thing that Enid was listening to at the beginning of Ghostworld, Boys (liked that when it first came out), and the Hives/Lisa Left Eye bootleg. Only song I thought was really rub was the one that goes "where's your child?", I bet it was LCD Soundsystem.
I've made notes on all the songs.
