Start by typing a less than sign, one o' those bird mouths with the point facing to the left.
Then type:

img src=""

and place the url of the image inside of the quotation marks.
Then finish with a more than sign, one o' those bird mouths with the point facing to the right.

nope. But you could upload it to tinypic, which lets you choose between resizing options (100x75, 160x120, 320x240, 640x480, 800x600, 1024x768), if any of those work for you.

it uses a percentage of the width so it depends on your monitor and how big the window is.

posting images is harder now that GOOGLE images has gone to a different format (at least for me, it's no longer as simple as copying-and-pasting the URL between the "img" tags).

Check your URL and make sure that it's completely correct. A typo may be the cause of your problem.
