Unless the thread title doesn’t bear his name, no Travolta poll. I watched A Civil Action last night--‘90s thriller + courtroom drama = I’m off New Romanian Cinema for good. It was okay--weird in that Travolta’s conception of his character seemed very different to me than how the movie’s first few minutes laid the groundwork. Duvall’s excellent.
I thought a poll would be good because, even though I think SNF will win, I can think of three or four other things that have a pretty good chance. Vote for performance, not film. I omitted TV work, cameos, documentaries, and voice-overs, and that got me inside 50. Sorry Plastic Bubble fans.
