- Live X(cerpt) by the Stranglers - "Did Someone say 'Wanker'?" asks Hugh Cornwell at the height of his arguably faux-cockney thuggishnes, right before the band busts into "Dead Ringer". "Well, c'mon, isn't he going to own up?" Punk Fucking Rock, you Supertramp fans.
-Decline of Western Civilization OST - "So, how come they let all you long-hairs in here tonight? What's the problem? This is 1980, can't you afford a fuckin' haircut?" FEAR. FEAR. FEAR!
- Alive and Alive II by Kiss. - Paul Stanley blurs the line between idiot and deity seamlessly.
- Take No Prisoners by Lou Reed - Ostensibly a live album, but more a hellbent hybrid of stand-up comedy and hate rant.

This could very well be the thing that Charles Bronson sampled.. but it would be easier for you to find the Charles Bronson track (it's 10 or so songs in 7 minutes) than the original Slayer tape, I'd imagine... the band seemed to have chosen the best bits, and leave them pretty clean.

"Yeah, I know I skipped a verse, wait a minute, I'll get back to it" but this not between song, but during-song. Is there a minimum length of soundbite?

I saw Calvin Johnson recently doing a solo acoustic thing where he started to strum some chords and told a story about North Dakota. It lasted for perhaps twenty minutes. He kept gently strumming the chords, as if all the time, he was about to play a song. Never happened. He's weird.

The crowd golf-clap and boo a bit, then you hear someone shout "VANKER!" and hear a bottle landing on stage, and Murphy says something rude and walks off. I wish I fucking well still had that tape.
Also, though I dont know if there's a recording anywhere of this - saw Lush at the Palace in Melb in 1992 and they said nothing the whole gig, not a word - til some wag shouted "sharss ya tits Miki!" and she gave the crowd a filthy glare, shouted "get fucked, cunt!" and then ripped into "Babytalk" for the encore. Bloody hilarious.
