Here we go again...

Guidelines:
-The noms in question had to have had a fairly significant release (or re-release) in 2008.
-Album tracks on albums released in 2008 qualify UNLESS it is relatively obvious that they will be singles in 2009, use your best judgment
-Tracks on albums released in other years that were singles in 2008 qualify
-I am merging remixes with album/radio edits; so if, let's pick a song at random, "Just Dance" gets 10 points and "Just Dance (Hccr's Bambossa Main Mix)" gets 10 points and it places, it will look like "'Just Dance', 20 points, 2 votes (10 points, 1 vote for Hccr's Bambossa Main Mix)" in the poll results. You can nominate as many mixes of a song you want, but you will only be able to vote for one mix per song when voting time comes.

You can nominate up to 15 albums AND/OR tracks. 15 tracks, 14 albums and 1 track, 3 tracks and 4 albums, 1 track, etc.

I'd say Nah und Fern was a fairly significant rerelease - a newly named and packaged compilation of four albums that had been out of print for ages. Also, it has a couple of new tracks too.

The Aeroplane remix of Williams' Blood is not so good anyway, it dissolves the whole internal dynamic that makes the original so awesome.

i'm going with No here...my thought process was that if people don't have to nominate the remix separately, then when voting time comes around there are going to be a lot fewer remix options on the list, and one function of the nominations list is to remind people of their options.

Fuck, I just was listening to Antony and the Johnsons' Another World EP and realized no one nominated it in this thread. I so would have voted for something off it, if not the whole thing. I think it's his best work.

anyWAY, it is 9pm and I am still working, I was hoping to stop earlier but instead I have more work than ever. Yay for overtime pay though.
