How can I use my trusted friends to get back into my account?

If you have trusted friends, anytime we ask you to enter a security code in order to access your account (ex: login approvals), you’ll have the option of sending codes to your trusted friends instead. This will keep you from getting locked out if, for example, you lose your phone or get a new number and forget to update your Facebook account.

Hi,what happened was that my wife was always logged in on her samsung galaxy s3 but not on the laptop. Four days ago she had to have a replacement galaxy s3 from her mobile operator as the phone was going faulty i reset everything to factory settings and gave it back to them with out stupidly noting down the password for facebook so i would say at least four days ago.thank you.

hi there, I have had a big nightmare with regards to accessing my Facebook account.

how can I do this then? I tried using the "forget you password? " link on the facebook login page and didn't work ( even using diferent browsers ), I also tried to login with wrong password many times so it ask me to reset password, but same thing happened, there is no other link I can use to reset it. My account was hacked on March 1 and the password was changed.
The hacker messaged my friend and deactivated it.
I tried to recover my account but the email I used before was no longer inaccessible due to it being around 10 years old.
I've done the necessary steps to recover it and Facebook said they will send a confirmation to the new email I have provided but nothing has happened within 24 hours and I've tried doing it 4x already.

Not sure where to put this, but has anyone been experiencing this issue where Post Options keeps popping up randomly on FB? (You know, the Save Post, Hide Post, etc. options under the "..." icon). I honestly cannot figure out what's causing it. Maybe my keyboard is messed up? I'm not having any similar issues on any other sites.
