found this in my gran's cupboard, used to belong to my great uncle, a 1986 olympus trip af md. put a roll of cheap film in it just out of curiosity, see how/if anything comes out. haven't used a film camera for about 8 years:

very cool! one thing to check for is the light seals - they need to be replaced. but if you want to get the lomo effect you might as well leave them be.

the light seals seem ok... not dryed up or coming away. well, find out when i get the film back anyway. think it might just be a case of sticking some black masking tape round it!

It's a bit sad, but every time I'm in Jessops on New Oxford Street (usually picking up prints/slides), I go straight to the GF1 and have a little play with it. Recently they've had it on display with the 20/1.7 fitted. If I win the lottery, forget L-series lenses, Hasselblads and Leicas, top of the shopping list is the GF1. (Obviously, I'm getting the Leicas and the 85/1.2L as well).
