5m is a good price for him, and is a good price to get for him. In many ways it is a price reflective of the man's values rather than his value, an understated fraction of consideration but when you think about it, really worth rather a lot

Morata is only 24 and if they get 6-8 years out of him (on the assumption he's about to hit his peak) then that's not awful in today's market. But strikes me as the kind of player who's more about intelligent approach play and contribution to the team, whereas in this environment and with that price tag he'll get hammered if he doesn't start scoring goals almost immediately.

Otm. He also strikes me as not an asshole, which is to his disadvantage, as being an asshole will always carry you a bit further when playing for Chelsea despite not being great (Lamps, Terry, fucking Costa).
