Nah xp, football is to blame - this season is exactly the same as last season, there's not much new to talk about. The only thing we might be missing is whether there's something big* happening at Villa. I'm also getting more sure that the blitw has New Jersey'ed in some way this year, though I can't put my finger on it. Maybe I'm just tired of life.

i'm more interested in the steady progress/decline atm of the clubs than i am about the football.

IDK, like i could take or leave watchin say lfc or chelsea or citeh or utd but there's still a lot in the overarching journey of each of these clubs this season that compels. In previous seasons i was all about the in-the-moment madness of the tackles and goals and thundering eplic battles, whereas now i'd rather read about it and catch the highlights after the fact that i can digest the league and performances in a more sober light

The narrative is mostly pretty boring though. Utd aren't going to be interesting until Ferguson fucks off and they hopefully bring in Wilf McGuinness; City aren't going to get any better or worse now unless they appoint Jose and improve in a completely predictable way; Spurs aren't as interesting as I'd hoped, or rather they are but it's the same Spurs erratic interesting as always; Liverpool are interesting but the transfer window has paused the narrative there for a bit; okay, Arsenal are fascinating, but even there Wenger'll somehow muddle through. What else is there? The small clubs?

Gotta admit I don't feel 110% comfortable with how this is developing. I want clearer parameters - if it's r|t|c, proceed to engage in banter; wbs, aim for naturalistic, thoughtful chat; merdeyeux, somewhere in between. That sort of thing. Are abbreviations okay? I don't know. I want to know, but there needs to be a chain of command. Leadership. Not a banter (bantz? I'm in the dark) free-for-all - people could get hurt.
