Let's say we had our annus horribilis - he was diagnosed a rare syndrome, suffered several ischemic strokes that left him semi-paralyzed and underwent brain surgery twice.
Now he's miraculously recovering and, while there is still a lot to do, we hope things will be better in the future.
I guess I'm posting these photos only to celebrate the fact he's a tough kid and we somehow soldiered on.

wow. thats some scary stuff. glad its all looking good so far. ilxor schwantz went though the same sort of thing a couple of years ago and as you can see above his sons look just great.

Yeah, Ben is doing great these days. Sorry to hear about your trials, Marco. Pretty much nothing heavier to deal with. Make sure you and your wife are talking/getting some counseling. I'm now in the midst of a divorce, and I'm pretty sure all the stress of the last few years contributed to the meltdown.

I'm really sorry to hear that, schwantz. Love to you and yours too, Marco.
