ian will probably post about this somewhere but I went in Academy today and they have a buncha copies of this really good bollywood soundtrack called SHAAN that they're selling for eight bucks a pop. funky sitar moog tabla action.

so my recent haul/score/purchase was that + another bolly soundtrack called "Rocky" by the same composer + the 12" reissue of the Mayyors "Deads EP"

lately i've been snagging pretty much anything i find on ecm, it's always so cheap. i was pleasantly surprised by those eberhard weber albums, still need to check out that ralph towner one (which also features weber on the electric double-bass ha)

all that stuff (except for the mnml wave comp) i found in the ever-reliable discount bins at sf amoeba yesterday. saqqara dogs was only $1! are their records usually more? there's a big tear through the cover but the vinyl is in decent condition
