really loving this show right now

It's totally surpassed The Office. I don't think there's a single P&R character I don't love.
― lindseykai, Friday, 23 October 2009 16:56 (fourteen years ago) link
my favorite is Dr. Mustache
― Mr. Que, Friday, 23 October 2009 16:58 (fourteen years ago) link
I liked Andy showing up at Ann's house naked. Chris Pratt is v. funny.

OTM. I've deleted The Office from my DVR queue.
― Elvis Telecom, Friday, 23 October 2009 18:31 (fourteen years ago) link
Jerry is such a unique character for TV. Hard to put in to words.
Excited to see what happens now that Andy can't live in the pit.

I hope he digs a tunnel and builds an underground layer, which causes trouble when they begin to dig the foundation for the boathouse or swingset or whatever.
Oh yeah...KABOOM...the post-credits thing where it's revealed that it's a prank was genius, it would've been so easy to make it a con.
― dan selzer, Sunday, 25 October 2009 20:30 (fourteen years ago) link
and the post-post-credit thing where it's revealed to be real was heartwarming.
― dan selzer, Sunday, 25 October 2009 20:31 (fourteen years ago) link
I know someone who works for KABOOM. It's a great organization.
This episode was funny, but I too belong to the worst-of-the-season camp. That's an indication of the high quality of the season so far though. "Practice Date" is the best episode yet.
― Super Cub, Sunday, 25 October 2009 21:26 (fourteen years ago) link
practice date was next level

Great role for Megan Mullally! Love her. Sex in the diner was insanely hilarious - the cut scene of them sitting eating their meals with their backs to each other in different booths, oh man.
― she started dancing to that (Finefinemusic), Friday, 6 November 2009 16:45 (fourteen years ago) link
she was great. hope she comes back. i was totally loving the library scorn for some reason.
― scott seward, Friday, 6 November 2009 16:49 (fourteen years ago) link
i was just going to say, the idea that everyone kind of hated the library was so funny to me. and i hope she comes back, too. she was a great foil for Leslie
― TGAAPQ (Mr. Que), Friday, 6 November 2009 16:50 (fourteen years ago) link
andy has gotten really funny too, chris pratt is convincingly nuts
― congratulations (n/a), Friday, 6 November 2009 16:52 (fourteen years ago) link
show is now consistently better than the office.
― you get ribbons when you're in 4H (forksclovetofu), Friday, 6 November 2009 16:53 (fourteen years ago) link
hate to say it, but the office has become like my name is earl or scrubs for me. something i have to sit through or ignore until the good stuff comes on. still, not a bad night for funny. community seems to be getting better and 30 rock is still killing me. and this show is really great.
― scott seward, Friday, 6 November 2009 16:54 (fourteen years ago) link
it's all about sunny in philadelphia for me.oh kittenmittons
― you get ribbons when you're in 4H (forksclovetofu), Friday, 6 November 2009 16:55 (fourteen years ago) link
i keep hoping that at some point they just ditch the office-style documentary film angle all together. they wouldn't even have to mention it. nobody in the world would even notice or care that they weren't doing it anymore.
― scott seward, Friday, 6 November 2009 16:57 (fourteen years ago) link
and it already seems like an afterthought.
― scott seward, Friday, 6 November 2009 16:58 (fourteen years ago) link
I agree, it just seems dumb that anyone would be filming a doc for that long. They should just quietly drop it.
― ô_o (Nicole), Friday, 6 November 2009 17:27 (fourteen years ago) link
No kidding. Some of the "at-anne's house" stuff is especially confusing; what the fuck are they doing there?it makes sense for the confessionals, but that shit is just shakespearean asides anyway
