I knew a guy at my college who had missed one of his required PE credits but was all set to graduate so they let him bowl 20 games in one day and call it good. He was wrecked enough to not be able to play drums at a party that night.

phys ed was required, bowling was a class that met that requirement. went to school in cleveland

I did badminton, bowling, yoga, and then something called "Mind/Body".. - jaymc, you went to K College, correct? I'm guessing, based on this info, that it is a lot more liberal than I had assumed. I didn't know anyone who went there, so I never got any first-hand accounts, but I'd always lumped them in w/ Albion, Hillsdale, etc. - the more button-down, lawyers/mbas-in-training type MI private schools.

Yeah, I did. And yeah, it's definitely more liberal (and I'd like to think more academically reputable!) than places like Albion/Alma/Adrian/Olivet/Hope/Calvin (no offense to Laurel) (or Sufjan).

Ah, OK, brownie. That means at least 2 schools in Cleveland offer bowling as a PE class. B-W used to even have its own alley in the basement of the student union. Me, I got my PE credits with yoga, golf and something called "Techniques in Relaxation." Yes, I earned credits by essentially sleeping.

in October 2009 I took dear Abbott's advice (I think?) and used Punky Colors* instead of Elumen in my hair!! Now I am brighter than the falling, fall leaves.

Totally flopped on the posting of the picture. Once I got home, I sat down on the couch, and promptly feel asleep for four hours, woke up at 12:30, then rolled over into the bed, where I slept very well.
