Our receptionist today just mentioned that Tim's puts nicotine in their coffee to make them addictive. The sad thing is, I can see it...I drink these things like crazy.

I never win anything, so I felt so triumphant. Nobody should be that excited over a banana muffin.

Michigan. In fact, the Tim's that I go to is directly across the street from my apartnment, so I'm lucky to have a cappucino dealer so close by. What would I do without my fix?

Tim Hortons coffee is more than just coffee - it's a part of people's lives and lifestyles. This is the basis for the popular "True Stories" series of TV commercials, which began airing in English Canada in 1997.
The series began with the story of Lilian, a lovely older lady who would walk quite a distance to get her Tim Hortons coffee. Over the years, viewers have enjoyed the true stories of Sammi, the loveable Golden Retriever; Natalie McMaster, a Canadian fiddling sensation; cowboys from Western Canada; Shorty Jenkins, the ice maker; surfers from Atlantic Canada and train engineers who couldn’t resist making an “unscheduled stop”. In the fifth "True Stories" commercial, Tim Hortons responds to the pleas of sailors in the Canadian navy, stationed in Kuwait, who miss home and the taste of Tim Hortons coffee. And most recently, viewers met David Mole, a Canadian student studying abroad at the University of Glasgow in Scotland.
