I'm actually ok with the cut of, say, the Levis skinny fit jeans, it's just the combo with the sort of oversized untucked plaid shirt (and the ray bans when outdoors) that I don't need to see anymore.

I wear skinny fit jeans because I think I look really dopey in straight fit, which I used to wear. Too much fabric flapping around!

more of an annoying thing than a fad, but it's another way for luddites to be all smug about how much they "don't need" technology. (nothing against luddites, just don't like the smugness. i don't "need" facebook either and i'm not impressed that you're not on it.)

im guilty of doing/liking a bunch of these but i am kind of sick of myself so

just thinking about it because the chronicle had an article about a building which they described as being in a Mad Men style. It's just a building from the 60s.

it makes it hard for people w/o cable to understand wtf u mean
