Nath, Tiger Woods' marriage and family life has been relentlessly placed in our media. I don't know how anyone interested enough to meet him could fail to note he was married, with kids - you'd have to be the kind of person who didn't give a shit about another woman to proceed in any case, and I just have a problem with women like that (and no problem laughing at them when they get hypocritically upset about their arrangement not being exclusive).

BTW I know of quite a few celebrities who seem to have open relationships their wives don't know about, and the lack of self-respect in the women involved is staggering - quite happy to sneak around, quite happy to be blanked in public, quite happy to use the servant's/tradesman's entrance (NO KEN) and generally quite happy to accept third-class treatment for what probably isn't even first-class sex. Oh, to be a Happy Hookup.

I am. Some are connecting the fact he has money to his addiction to sex. I am convinced that without the money, he probably would have fucked around just as much. It is a factor of course, no question about it, but I am sure it isn't as important as people like to think it is.

Suzy, you are in and interested in the media, you are wrong to assume that all people are aware o f his marriage. He picked up these women in bars, restaurants,... They didn't really seek him out, it's more the other way around, he approached them. That's the impression I have anyway.

Also I think you're ignoring the fact that these women were probably handpicked to be sexually available -- or, equally, they self-selected by placing themselves among a group of women who made themselves available to men with enough money/power. These were not chance encounters where someone might not be up-to-date with a strangers personal life, their meetings were manufactured for the express purpose of meeting every desire of a rich celebrity.

I'm not saying money didn't play a factor, I'm saying it is not as big as people like to think it is. It's not the factor. I mean, now they gain something but were they financially rewarded fucking him? (I think money is a bigger factor for, say, the wife.) Fame however was probably a bigger factor.

The mainstream media is ignoring this too, you're not alone, but the reality is that someone sourced those women, like a product (which they basically were) to be offered to someone with enough money to encompass paying someone else to organize his social & sexual life. these women definitely knew tiger woods was married. i'm sure he told them multiple times to only call at certain times because his wife was around or something along those lines (he told one of them this via text iirc), though i'm sure he used the 'wife' excuse when he was set to meet one of the other women he'd been sleeping with.

and i think rich folks have access to sex a lot easier for reasons that wealth is attractive to people, the rich folks can pay for sex with attractive people without having to worry about going broke, or barring a direct pay-to-play situation they can cover the expenses of the people they're sleeping with or give them gifts, etc. tiger woods, if poor, wouldn't have had access to this world and might have never gone that route and don't underestimate the power of the fact that he's one of the world's most famous athletes. and he's not just rich, he's a *billionaire*.
